Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and reviewing estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Manage case files meticulously, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with legal standards.
- Conduct legal research related to estate laws, probate procedures, and trust administration to support case development.
- Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information, schedule meetings, and provide updates on case progress.
- Draft correspondence, legal notices, affidavits, and other essential documents with precision and clarity.
- Organize court filings and ensure timely submission of documents in accordance with jurisdictional requirements.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite—including Word, Excel, Outlook—to create reports, maintain schedules, and communicate effectively within the team.
- Maintain excellent time management to prioritize tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines in a busy environment.
- Support the team with administrative duties such as managing calendars and ensuring smooth workflow across all private client cases.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a paralegal or legal assistant specializing in private client or estate law is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to interact confidently with clients and legal professionals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word for document creation; Excel for data management; Outlook for scheduling; IT skills for efficient case handling.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of estate planning procedures, probate processes, and trust administration is preferred.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus but not required.
- Demonstrated time management skills to meet strict deadlines without compromising quality.
