Flat Roofing Site Manager (Working Supervisor) – Self-Employed
£25.00 per hour (£200 per day)
Due to continued growth, Alpha Roofing Services Ltd is looking for an experienced Flat Roofing Site Manager to join our team.
We specialise in commercial flat roofing projects throughout East Anglia, delivering high-quality installations for main contractors, local authorities and commercial clients. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality, professionalism and doing the job properly.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll be expected to lead by example, working alongside your team while taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects, ensuring work is completed safely, to a high standard, on programme and within budget.
You’ll be trusted to run your own sites with the full support of our Contracts Management team, so we’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership of projects.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
● Lead and motivate roofing teams on site.
● Install built-up felt roofing systems to a consistently high standard.
● Deliver projects safely, to a high standard, on programme and within budget.
● Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and site housekeeping.
● Communicate effectively with clients, site management and our office.
● Identify and resolve problems before they affect the programme.
● Take pride in producing quality work.

Essential Requirements
● Proven experience installing built-up felt roofing systems to a high standard.
● Experience leading roofing teams.
● SSSTS (minimum) or SMSTS.
● Relevant CSCS Card.
● Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
● NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Work Supervision (or equivalent). If you don’t currently hold this qualification, you’ll need to be willing to work towards it. Alpha Roofing Services Ltd will fund the qualification, although some coursework will need to be completed in your own time.
Full support will be provided by our Contracts Management team.
