We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and callers, delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic. Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and direct them appropriately, maintaining a courteous and professional attitude at all times
- Answer incoming calls promptly and manage enquiries with excellent telephone etiquette
- Manage appointment scheduling, diary coordination, and rescheduling efficiently
- Maintain and update patient records accurately in accordance with GDPR requirements
- Support business growth by engaging prospective patients in a welcoming and informative manner
- Ensure the reception area remains tidy, organised, and welcoming
- Liaise effectively with dentists and other dental care professionals
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous office or administrative experience (essential)
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and patient management systems (QuickBooks experience advantageous)
- Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Dental or healthcare experience preferred
