We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our amazing team at The West Side tavern. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality
Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
- Manage Stock levels, including ordering supplies and minimising waste.
- Ensure that the kitchen and equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.
- Create a positive working environment that encourages teamwork
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills.
