Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Worker to provide vital care and assistance during the night. Responsibilities
- Monitor and support residents overnight, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Follow individual care plans to meet each person’s specific needs and preferences
- Maintain accurate records of overnight activities, incidents, and any changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with team members, families or professional visitors
- Assist with bedtime routines, including preparing sleeping areas and providing reassurance as needed
- Respond promptly to emergencies or urgent situations
- Ensure the environment remains safe, clean, and conducive to restful sleep for all individuals in your care
Qualifications
- Experience working in a care home is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact clearly with residents and team members
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and consistently
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and updating documentation
- Knowledge of safety procedures, and emergency responses
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a dynamic environment
