Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to join our team in Sevenoaks. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for maintaining clean and hygienic environments within commercial premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness across various client sites, contributing to a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Prior janitorial experience and commercial cleaning skills are highly desirable, though full training will be provided. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and other business premises
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and communal areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet rolls as needed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning routines to management
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning times to minimise disruption to clients’ operations
Skills
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within allocated timeframes
- Ability to work flexibly during scheduled hours, including early mornings or late afternoons if required
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work and clients’ premises
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is advantageous but not mandatory
