Onyx Gaming is redefining online gambling in the UK with data-driven insights and exceptional player experiences. As a Sports Betting Trading Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our sports betting operation, supporting our Sports Betting Trader and the wider Trading team across our markets.

This is a hands on role. You'll monitor live betting, help protect margins, and work closely with the Trading and Customer Service teams to identify adverse betting activity and keep outcomes fair and accurate for both customers and the business.
What you'll do
- Monitor live betting activity and bet tickers in real time
- Flag and escalate late bets, unusual betting patterns and high-liability positions to the Trading team
- Assist with reviewing stake factoring activity under guidance from the Trading team
- Check trader comments are up to date and clearly recorded
- Assist in the setup and monitoring of betting markets, checking start times, terms and display
- Monitor third-party feeds and flag discrepancies or issues to the Trading team or platform provider
- Support Customer Service with factual betting information and data, and assist agents via chat when requested
- Maintain accurate records to support audit and review processes
What we're looking for
- Extensive knowledge of betting markets and a keen interest in sports
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of Excel (desirable)
- Comfortable working a shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays to support the sporting calendar
