Due to continued growth, we're expanding our offshore engineering team and are recruiting five experienced Electrical Service & Commissioning Technicians to support leading OEM manufacturers across the offshore energy, marine and subsea sectors.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position with a growing engineering business, working on the installation, servicing, commissioning and maintenance of some of the world's most advanced offshore equipment.
You'll work on:
✔ Offshore Cranes
✔ LARS (Launch & Recovery Systems)
✔ Walk-to-Work Gangways
✔ Winches & Lifting Systems
✔ Cable Lay & Mechanical Handling Equipment
We're looking for:
- Electrical apprenticeship/trade qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Willingness to travel worldwide at short notice
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous offshore, OEM, commissioning or field service experience (preferred)
Desirable:
- CompEx Certification
- BOSIET/FOET
- Offshore Medical
- Working at Height
- GWO Certifications
- HV/LV Switching or Electrical Authorisation Experience
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, drives, sensors and control systems
- Experience with offshore cranes, winches, cable lay systems or marine handling equipment
