Job Overview
Cromwell Medical Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Consultant Breast Radiologist for a long-term NHS placement at Royal Derby Hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Breast Imaging Department and contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and interventional breast services.

Key Responsibilities
- Report and interpret breast imaging examinations including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
- Participate in symptomatic and screening breast services
- Perform image-guided breast procedures, including biopsies and localisation procedures
- Attend and contribute to Breast Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings
- Work collaboratively with breast surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, and specialist nursing teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with NHS governance standards
- Support service development, audit, teaching, and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- GMC registration with a licence to practise
- FRCR qualification (or equivalent)
- Extensive experience in Breast Radiology
- Previous NHS experience preferred
- Experience reporting mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
- Competency in breast interventional procedures
- Up-to-date mandatory training and compliance documentation
- Available to start ASAP
