Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and dedicated Delivery Drivers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities.
Full Time Role: Start time 5am
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to assigned destinations.
Load and unload items with care, ensuring all products are handled properly.
Check that orders are complete and in excellent condition upon arrival at delivery locations.
Maintain accurate delivery records, including mileage logs and confirmation of deliveries.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
Provide friendly, professional service to customers during deliveries.
Assist in general warehouse duties, to include picking/packing and stock organization where required.
Follow all traffic regulations and company policies while driving.
Experience and Skills:
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar logistics role is preferred.
Understanding of commercial driving rules and safety practices is beneficial.
Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous.
Capable of performing heavy lifting during loading and unloading of goods.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to ensure effective customer and team interactions.
