Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 however can be level 2 with the right experience to join our vibrant early childhood education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about child development and early years education to make a positive impact on children's lives.
Duties
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities that support children’s developmental needs in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Supervise and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times within the nursery setting
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, sharing insights with parents during regular meetings
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment that encourages learning and exploration
- Support children with their daily routines including meal times, naps, and personal care
- Assist in managing nursery routines and contribute to the overall organisation of the setting
- Uphold nursery policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory standards
Skills
- Extensive experience working with children in a childcare or nursery environment
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and child development stages
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team whilst demonstrating initiative
- Good organisational skills with the ability to plan activities suitable for various age groups
- Compassionate approach to childcare with a genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and learning
- Strong understanding and knowledge of safeguarding
This is a full time position and all year round.
Pay: £12.71-£12.81 per hour
