Overview
Eco Home Insulation is seeking a skilled and dedicated Renewable Energy Electrician to join our growing team.
We are looking for an experienced electrician specialising in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and renewable energy technologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical expertise, excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to customer service and quality workmanship.

Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Testing & Inspection
- Solar PV Qualification
- Battery Storage Qualification
- EV Charger Qualification
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Air Source Heat Pump electrical experience
- Experience with CCTV or integrated systems
- Renewable energy commissioning experience
- ECS Gold Card
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install, commission and maintain Solar PV systems, Battery Storage systems, EV Charging points and Air Source Heat Pumps.
- Carry out electrical wiring, testing, inspection and commissioning in accordance with current regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections, fault finding and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance.
- Complete maintenance and remedial works on existing installations.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard whilst maintaining strict compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Accurately complete certification, commissioning documentation and installation records.
- Provide excellent customer service, explaining system operation and answering customer queries professionally.
- Work closely with colleagues, suppliers and customers to deliver projects efficiently and safely.
- Assist with technical diagnostics relating to integrated electrical and renewable energy systems.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience installing Solar PV, Battery Storage and EV Charging systems.
- Strong testing, inspection and fault-finding abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Strong understanding of electrical regulations and safe working practices.
- Positive attitude and willingness to develop professionally.
