At Ward, we’re looking for an energetic, commercially-minded Business Development Executive to represent our award-winning waste and recycling brand across Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Burton and the surrounding areas.

About the Role
As part of our growing Business Development team, you’ll:
- Be the face of Ward Recycling in your local patch, identifying and converting new business opportunities
- Promote our total waste solutions
- Structure your working week while delivering on target
- Participate in monthly sales meetings to share best practice and stay aligned with company goals
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the best service for your clients
What You’ll Need
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing B2B roles
- Confident, bubbly, and persuasive personality – people should love talking to you
- Strong resilience and tenacity – you’ll thrive on chasing down leads and closing deals
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ideally based in or around Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, or Burton, with a good knowledge of the local area
