Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber/Bathroom Fitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and bathroom fixtures across various residential projects. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in new construction and renovation projects
- Fit bathroom components such as sinks, toilets, bathtubs, showers, and cabinetry with precision and care
- Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry techniques to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct inspections to identify leaks or malfunctions and troubleshoot mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols
- Assemble plumbing components accurately according to technical drawings and specifications
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and inspections performed for project documentation
Experience
- Proven experience as a plumber or bathroom fitter in commercial or residential settings
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices in installation and repair
- Skilled in welding, use of hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during installation processes
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred for transporting materials or equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks
