Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in their own homes.
This could be going from home to home or working for multiple hours in the same place depending on your preference.
The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of clients. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required
- Prepare meals in accordance with individual care plans and dietary requirements
- Undertake light domestic chores including laundry, cleaning, and organising living spaces
- Provide companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate effectively with clients and their families
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Experience
- Previous experience in a home care or care home setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic IT skills for maintaining documentation and updating care plans
- Driving licence is advantageous for travelling between clients’ homes efficiently
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs of clients

Pay: From £12.72 per hour
