Duties
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Support the implementation and review of personalized care plans tailored to individual needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to foster well-being and social engagement
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including observations and any changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Support transportation needs by driving when necessary to appointments or outings
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for all
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Valid driving license and ability to drive confidently for work-related duties
- Good command of English language skills for clear communication
- Basic IT skills to update electronic care records accurately
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach to caregiving
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to health and safety standards
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed to support 24/7 care services
