We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join our team in Uttoxeter, United Kingdom on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be the face of our café, crafting quality beverages and creating memorable experiences for our customers. You will work in a fast-paced environment where efficiency, customer focus, and teamwork are essential to our success.

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, espresso-based beverages, and other café offerings with precision and consistency

Operate espresso machines and other café equipment safely and effectively

Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly, attentive service

Maintain a clean and organized work station, including equipment maintenance and sanitation

Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak and off-peak hours

Stock and rotate inventory items as needed

Respond to customer inquiries and special requests with a helpful and empathetic approach

Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times

Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration and support
Qualifications

Proven experience as a barista or in a customer service role within a café or hospitality setting (preferred)

Strong knowledge of coffee types, origins, and brewing methods

Proficiency in operating espresso machines and café equipment

Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Cash handling experience and familiarity with point-of-sale systems (preferred)

Food safety awareness and understanding of hygiene standards

Strong time management and organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Flexibility to work part-time hours, including potential weekend availability
