Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Door Engineer / Installer / Maintainer to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of fire doors to ensure compliance with current fire safety regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair fire doors and associated ironmongery.
- Carry out fire door inspections and remedial works.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant fire safety regulations and standards.
- Complete job reports and documentation accurately.
- Identify defects and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional working environment.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fire door installation, maintenance, and remedial works.
- Good understanding of fire door regulations and compliance requirements.
- Competent in fitting ironmongery, seals, hinges, closers, and other fire door components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude.
Desirable Qualifications
- BM TRADA, FDIS, FIRAS, or equivalent fire door certification.
- CSCS Card.
