We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team.
The Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you’ll play an important part in keeping the kitchen running smoothly. Your duties will include:
- Washing and cleaning kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes
- Keeping the kitchen, storage areas and equipment clean and organised
- Assisting chefs with basic preparation when required
- Ensuring bins and waste areas are kept clean and managed correctly
- Helping with deliveries and putting stock away
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
- Supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team during busy services
What We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
- Organised and takes pride in keeping a clean workplace
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Available to work evenings, weekends and during busy periods
Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential – full training can be provided for the right person.
