Class 1 HGV Drivers – Hemel Hempstead
We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for a variety of ongoing work based in Hemel Hempstead. We have a range of shift patterns available, including days, nights, weekends, and mixed rotas, offering flexibility to suit your availability.
Pay Rates:
The Role:
- Completing depot-to-depot trunking and store deliveries
- Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
- Completing all relevant paperwork and using POD systems where required
- Maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance with driver hours and road transport regulations
- Representing the client in a professional manner at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months' Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver hours, WTD regulations, and road safety
- Reliable, professional, and punctual with a positive attitude
