About the Role
Paragon Education is working with a welcoming secondary school in Kings Hurst seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join their team from September. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive department.
You will teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop strong literacy, analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all abilities.
- Monitor student progress through effective assessment and feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- ECTs are encouraged to apply.
