We are seeking highly skilled and passionate South Indian Chefs with strong expertise in dosa, idli, vada, puri, chapati,paratha and other traditional vegetarian preparations. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will ensure consistency, quality, and excellence in every dish served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expert preparation of all dosa varieties — plain, masala, ghee, rava, onion, special dosas
- Skilled preparation of idli (regular, mini, rava), including batter fermentation and steaming consistency
- Mastery in vada preparation — medu vada, masala vada, shaping, frying, and batch consistency
- Professional preparation of puri / paratha— dough kneading, rolling, frying, and maintaining puff consistency
- Ability to prepare chapati/roti with uniform softness, shape, and texture
- Maintain strict recipe standards and ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation
- Uphold hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness at all times
- Support Head Chefs with cost control, portioning, stock rotation, and wastage reduction
- Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment used for tiffin production
- Train junior staff on batter handling, tawa management, frying techniques, and dough preparation
- Ensure smooth service during peak hours through efficient workflow and time management.

Ideal Candidate:

- Proven experience in dosa, idli, vada, puri, chapati preparation
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Driving licence preferred but not mandatory.
