About the Role
We are currently recruiting for experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers to join a well-established and growing company based in the Telford area. This is a straight permanent opportunity offering long-term stability and career development within a busy warehouse and dispatch operation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse and dispatch departments while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Moving stock throughout warehouse and dispatch areas.
- Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations.
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required.
- Ensuring stock is handled accurately and stored correctly.
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assisting with dispatch activities to meet customer and business demands.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid external FLT Counterbalance licence (essential).
- Minimum 6 months' Counterbalance FLT experience.
- Previous experience working within a warehouse or dispatch environment.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices.
- Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- Must be willing and available to work weekends when required by the business.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
