Overview
We are looking for a keen, reliable person to join our team as a Roofing Laborer / driver and be a vital part of creating durable, high-quality roofing solutions. As a Roofing Laborer, you’ll assist with various tasks that keep projects moving efficiently while gaining valuable experience in the roofing industry, with the promise to learning the trade. We prioritize safety, teamwork, and hands-on learning to ensure you thrive in this fast-paced environment. A driver is also need so a valid UK driving licence is needed, this will be for delivering all necessary materials to site across the country and collecting any remaining materials/waste and removing from various sites.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
- Carry heavy materials such as slate/tiles, plywood, felt, and lead safely across job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency throughout each project
Skills
- Experience related construction skills is a plus
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment to perform various tasks effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently in outdoor environments
- Strong understanding of roofing techniques and materials to support quality workmanship
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction sites and roofing operations
- Prior construction experience is highly valued for understanding project workflows and teamwork dynamics
Pay: From £120.00 per day
