As a busy city centre hotel we are looking for a part time kitchen porter to join our team.
The main duties are:
- To ensure all surfaces are clean, sweep and mop the floors through the day.
- To ensure all cooking equipment, utensils and kitchen machinery are clean
- To ensure all cooking equipment and utensils are stored correctly and to the required standard
- To ensure the correct disposal of all waste food products
- The receiving and checking of deliveries
- The correct storage of all food produce
- Date checking and rotating stock
The right person should be able to maintain high standards of appearance and good personal hygiene; be a good team player; have the ability to work under pressure; be a good listener and communicator.
It is preferable that you have a basic food hygiene certificate; however this is not essential as training will be provided. Other duties may include some kitchen prep during services for functions and events.

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
