Cleaning Operative (Medical Environment)
Part‑time · 16.25 hours per week
Monday to Friday · 5.30pm–8.45pm
We are looking for a reliable and detail‑focused Cleaning Operative to work within a medical environment, ensuring high standards of hygiene, infection control and patient safety.
About the Role
- Cleaning clinical rooms, waiting areas, corridors and staff spaces
- Disinfecting high‑touch surfaces following infection‑control procedures
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Safe handling and disposal of waste (including clinical waste where required)
- Following colour‑coding, COSHH and site cleaning schedules
- Completing daily checklists and maintaining accurate records
What We’re Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience (medical/clinical preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Able to follow health & safety and infection‑control procedures
- Training in COSHH/infection control beneficial – full training provided
