Fantastic Opportunity for an assistant Barista in a newly renovated cafe/restaurant which was originally a stone Threshing Barn
We are a family farm near Lincoln and have recently renovated a stone threshing barn into a cafe/restaurant which seats up to 60 people. We would like to build a fantastic reputation for providing a high-quality service using fresh ingredients. We are looking for a passionate barista to come on this exciting journey with us we prepare to open this new venture.
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic barista to join our team. You will be able to prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks to a high standard. You will have some experience of using an espresso machine but training will be given.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Help with food preparation and serving.
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Uphold the quality of products by following recipes and presentation standards.
Requirements
- Previous barista experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards.
- Strong serving skills with the ability to interact positively with customers.
- Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

We will initially be opening 5 days a week Wednesday to Sunday, opening times 9am - 4pm.
Pay will be dependent on experience.
