Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated CQC Support Workers to provide high-quality care for children and young adults. Duties
- Assist children and young adults with daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and behavioural support
- Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with families, carers, and other professionals
- Support participation in educational, recreational, and social activities to promote development and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, progress notes, and any incidents in accordance with organisational policies
- Drive service users to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safety at all times
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, colleagues, and external agencies to ensure cohesive support
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe environment for all individuals involved
- Utilise IT systems for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young adults in a care or childcare setting is desirable
- Valid driving licence with the ability to drive service users when necessary
- Knowledge of child development, care plans, and safeguarding procedures
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with young people, families, and team members
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to providing respectful and person-centred support
- Ability to work flexibly according to organisational needs; previous experience in similar roles will be advantageous
