Are you a versatile and passionate individual with a creative flair for social media posts and engagement? We're looking for a freelance Social Media Manager to join our team and share the creative projects and processes from our workshop with the outside world! Flexible hours and full creative license to create a fun, exciting social presence to match our brand
Responsibilities
- Plan marketing strategies/post schedules
- Capture pictures and video from our workshop and site installations
- Edit pictures and videos for reels
- Ensure posts are targeted towards potential clients and monitor engagement
- Engage actively with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Foster positive relationships with influencers, partners, and media outlets to expand our reach and reputation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management across multiple platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or TikTok.
- Be able to capture and create content on site at our workshop and installations in photo and video formats
- Have a basic knowledge of woodworking machines and processes or a keen interest in learning this
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for compelling storytelling.
- Ability to analyse data using social media analytics tools to measure success and inform future campaigns.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas that drive engagement.
- Knowledge of current social media trends, algorithms, and best practices for content optimisation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: £120.00-£250.00 per day
