Role Purpose
The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for delivering a proactive, consultative, and commercially focused resourcing service across Mitie Fire & Security. Acting as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, you will lead the full resourcing lifecycle from vacancy approval through to onboarding, whilst driving direct sourcing, headhunting, talent pipelining, and stakeholder engagement strategies to secure exceptional talent.
A key element of this role is partnering with leaders across the business to influence hiring decisions, provide market intelligence, challenge resourcing approaches where appropriate, and ensure a best-in-class candidate experience.

What You'll Be Doing
Partnering with the Business

Build strong relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders across the business.

Act as a trusted advisor, providing market insights, salary benchmarking, and recruitment expertise.

Influence hiring decisions and challenge recruitment strategies where appropriate to improve outcomes.

Lead vacancy briefing and talent planning discussions to understand current and future hiring needs.
Finding the Best Talent

Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify and attract exceptional candidates.

Conduct proactive headhunting using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent maps, networking, referrals, and industry intelligence.

Build talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.

Drive direct sourcing initiatives to reduce agency reliance and improve recruitment efficiency.

Promote employee referrals and innovative attraction campaigns.
Managing End-to-End Recruitment

Take ownership of the full recruitment lifecycle from requisition to onboarding.

Manage vacancies through PageUp, ensuring a smooth and compliant process.

Screen, assess and shortlist candidates against role requirements.

Present high-quality candidate shortlists and recommendations to hiring managers.

Coordinate interviews and guide stakeholders through effective selection processes.
Delivering an Outstanding Candidate Experience

Keep candidates engaged throughout their recruitment journey.

Lead offer discussions and salary negotiations.

Support successful onboarding and ensure a seamless transition from offer acceptance to start date.

Ensure clear communication and timely feedback at every stage.
Driving Continuous Improvement

Analyse recruitment performance, market trends and hiring data.

Produce meaningful recruitment insights and reporting.

Identify opportunities to improve attraction strategies, hiring processes and candidate engagement.

Support workforce planning through talent mapping and market intelligence.
What we are looking for

Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner, Senior Recruiter, or Senior Talent Acquisition Partner.

A track record of successfully sourcing, headhunting and recruiting hard-to-find talent.

Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence and challenge senior leaders.

Experience managing multiple priorities and vacancies in a fast-paced environment.

Strong interviewing, assessment and candidate engagement skills.

Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems, ideally PageUp.

Excellent organisational, communication and relationship-building abilities.
