Our reputable client, a well-established dealership in Lightwater, Surrey, is currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / PDI Technician to join their professional team. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals looking to work with premium vehicle brands such as BMW and Mercedes, in a role that emphasises quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

- Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and expertise
- Monday to Friday working hours, with flexible options (8 am - 5 pm or 9 am - 6 pm)

Duties:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, mechanical repairs, and PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections) to manufacturer standards
- Performing suspension work and basic mechanical repairs, avoiding heavy jobs such as cambelt or clutch replacements
- Preparing vehicles for retail sale, ensuring first-time fix standards are met
- Managing parts ordering and invoicing efficiently, liaising with parts suppliers
- Conducting diagnostics and repairs on BMWs, Mercedes, and other premium vehicles
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship to uphold the dealership’s reputation
- Supporting the wider team in delivering excellent customer service and vehicle quality
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role within the motor trade
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair procedures
- Familiarity with PDI processes and parts ordering procedures
- Ability to work efficiently and deliver high standards of work
- Experience working with premium brands such as BMW and Mercedes is highly desirable
- A professional attitude with a commitment to accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Strong team player, focused on quality and timely service delivery
