Job Summary
Arriva Care Services is a busy care service operating within the city centre of Gloucester. We provide supported living and floating support to people with mental health issues and learning difficulties.
We are looking for a Senior Support Worker with previous experience of working within the care sector to join our experienced team on a full-time basis. You will be required to work on a rota basis, with a rolling working week Monday to Sunday, plus sleeping nights. Opportunities to further develop by obtaining extended relevant qualifications will be available
Essential
- Previous experience of care/support work
- NVQ 3
- Valid Right to Work in the Uk
Desirable
- Driving Licence (with access to own vehicle)
Responsibilities
- Deliver support in a person centred, respectful manner
- Maintain the dignity and privacy of the people we support
- Prompt medication
- Follow policies and procedures
- Assist with domestic duties and supporting daily living tasks (cleaning, cooking, washing, benefit management, attending activities)
Pay: Up to £12.91 per hour
