About the Role
Trojan Facilities Management is looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-focused Commercial Cleaner to join our team at a leisure facility in Threshfield, BD23.
This is a permanent part-time position working 9:00pm–12:00am, with approximately 15–21 hours per week.
The working rota will include a mixture of weekday and weekend shifts, so applicants must be able to offer flexibility across the week.
The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout a busy leisure environment, including gym, café, toilet, changing and spa facilities.
Key Responsibilities
Your cleaning responsibilities will include:
- Gym and fitness areas
- Spa and leisure facilities
- Café and customer areas
- Toilets and washrooms
- Changing facilities
- Showers and wet areas
- Communal areas and walkways
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
- Cleaning and sanitising high-contact touchpoints
- Cleaning mirrors and internal glass
- Cleaning toilets, sinks, taps and sanitary areas
- Maintaining shower and wet areas to a high hygiene standard
- Emptying bins and replacing liners
- Replenishing consumables
- Cleaning tables and accessible surfaces within café areas
- Maintaining high presentation standards throughout customer-facing areas
- Reporting maintenance, damage, stock or cleaning issues
- Following site-specific cleaning schedules and procedures
- Using cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly

- Comfortable cleaning toilets, showers and wet leisure areas
- Able to maintain consistently high cleaning standards

- Professional when working around customers and site staff
- Able to follow cleaning specifications and site procedures
- Someone who takes genuine pride in their work
Previous experience in commercial cleaning, gyms, leisure centres, spas or hospitality environments would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right person.
Getting to Site – Important
Applicants must be able to reliably travel to and from our Threshfield BD23 site for every scheduled shift.
Shifts finish at 12:00am (midnight), so applicants should check that they have suitable and reliable transport arrangements before applying.
A company vehicle is not provided for this position.

Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be able to reliably travel to Threshfield, BD23
- Be available between 9:00pm and 12:00am
- Be able to work a mixture of weekdays and weekends
- Be able to provide two references
- Hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one if required
- Be dependable and committed to their agreed rota
