Housekeeper (Part-Time)
Location: Wisbech
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 12:00pm (up to 15–20 hours per week)
About the Role
We're looking for a reliable and responsible Housekeeper to join our friendly team.
You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our guest accommodation and communal areas. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who takes pride in their work, has excellent attention to detail, and can work independently while also being part of a supportive team.
While your primary place of work will be our Wisbech site, the successful candidate must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, as you may be required to travel to other nearby sites to provide housekeeping cover and operational support, subject to business needs. This flexibility may also provide opportunities for additional working hours, meaning the role can increase to up to 15–20 hours per week when cover is required at other locations.
Duties Include
- Cleaning guest rooms to a high standard
- Cleaning and maintaining communal areas and shared kitchens
- Carrying out deep cleans when required
- Assisting with stock checks and reporting low supplies
- Reporting maintenance and health & safety issues
- Following all cleaning, hygiene and health & safety procedures
Essential Requirements
- Previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Good spoken and written English
- Excellent attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Good time management and the ability to work independently
- Must live locally
- Willing to undergo a DBS check
