Join Our Team as a Swimming Instructor at The Sussex Swim School!
The Sussex Swim School is seeking passionate and qualified Swimming Instructors initially for Thursday and Friday evenings 3.30 - 6.15pm to join our dedicated team. We offer personalized swimming lessons in a private, serene setting, catering to individuals of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality group and private swimming lessons, tailored to each student's needs.
- Assess and monitor students' swimming abilities, providing constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment by enforcing pool safety rules and supervising students at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents, adhering to company policies.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors to continually enhance our swimming programs and services.
Requirements:
- Hold a Level 2 Swimming Teaching Qualification (or equivalent) and relevant lifeguard qualification
- Demonstrate strong swimming skills and a thorough understanding of various swimming techniques.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- Show a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Previous experience in teaching swimming is preferred.
