Duties
- Assist clients with daily tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility to enhance their comfort and independence
- Support clients in adhering to their tailored care plans, ensuring all needs are met with compassion and professionalism
- Administer medication and health-related tasks as prescribed, following strict safety protocols
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Use IT tools to update care records accurately and efficiently, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant
- Drive clients safely to appointments or errands, providing reliable transportation as needed
- Promote a positive environment by engaging clients in meaningful activities and encouraging social interaction
Experience
- Previous experience in home care or working within a care home setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to operate IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Valid driving license and the ability to drive safely are highly desirable for transporting clients
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a caring attitude and respectful approach towards clients of diverse backgrounds
