Ravenwood Hall are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences at our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of guests and staff. As a Duty Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of service and managing various departments within the hotel.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth functioning across all departments, with strong focus on events and weddings.
- Provide exceptional guest services, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
- Lead and motivate staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in human resources functions, including staff training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
- Handle any emergencies or incidents that may arise during your shift, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other management team members to develop strategies for improving service delivery and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is essential, as well as experience in running events.
- Strong background in hotel operations with knowledge of guest services best practices.
- Proven leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and interact with guests.
- Familiarity with human resources processes is an advantage.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in challenging situations.
