As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Recruitment Officer to join our Head Office Team. Job Overview
As Recruitment & Administration Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process across our residential and education services. You will play a key role in attracting high-quality candidates, coordinating safer recruitment processes, and ensuring all pre-employment checks are completed in line with statutory requirements and organisational policies.
Working closely with our directors and managers, you will help build a workforce that shares our commitment to providing outstanding care, education, and support to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from advertising vacancies through to onboarding.
- Produce engaging job adverts and manage recruitment campaigns across a range of platforms, including Indeed.
- Screen applications and co-ordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Ensure all recruitment activity complies with Safer Recruitment guidance and employment legislation.
- Complete and verify all pre-employment checks, including Schedule 2 compliance requirements.
- Ensure recruitment practices align with current Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with GDPR.
- Consistently liaise with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing an excellent candidate experience.
- Support managers with recruitment advice and best practice.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment processes and employer branding.
- Support directors and mangers with day to day administrative tasks, as required.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in an internal recruitment or recruitment administration role.
- Sound knowledge and practical experience of Safer Recruitment practices.
- Knowledge of Schedule 2 requirements.
- Good understanding of current Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, with experience using recruitment or HR systems being advantageous.
Essential Requirements
- You must currently be based in the UK.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Experience of recruitment within education, children's residential care, health, or social care is desirable.

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
