Experienced Dog Groomer – Radleys Pet Styling & Grooming Academy
Location: Milton Keynes
Pay: £13.00 per hour + monthly performance bonus of up to £200
Hours: Approximately 30–36 hours per week
Schedule: 6-hour shifts, Monday–Saturday

About the Role
Radleys Pet Styling & Grooming Academy is looking for an experienced and confident Dog Groomer to join our growing business in Milton Keynes.
This is an employed position within our professional grooming salon and training academy, offering a varied role working with both our professional grooming clients and dogs enrolled in our Academy Grooming Programme.
We are looking for someone who can work independently to a high standard and who would like to play an active role in the continued growth of Radleys.
Our working days are structured around 6-hour shifts, providing a great alternative to the long working days often found within the grooming industry.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Completing full professional dog grooms independently
- Bathing, drying, clipping, scissoring and styling
- Working with a variety of breeds, coat types and grooming styles
- Grooming dogs within our Academy Grooming Programme when required
- Providing excellent customer service
- Encouraging regular 6–8 weekly rebooking and customer retention
- Maintaining accurate client and grooming records
- Following Radleys' grooming, welfare and salon procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe and professional working environment
- Working alongside our Grooming Academy during student training days
- Helping support the continued growth of Radleys Pet Styling
Saturdays are dedicated to professional grooming appointments.
Teaching and assessing students is not a requirement of this position.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has professional dog grooming experience
- Is confident completing full grooms independently
- Has strong clipping, scissoring and finishing skills
- Is comfortable working with a variety of breeds and coat types
- Has excellent dog handling and animal welfare standards
- Is reliable, organised and professional
- Provides excellent customer care
- Works well as part of a team
- Takes pride in producing high-quality grooms
- Is comfortable working within a professional salon and training academy environment
A recognised dog grooming qualification is desirable; however, relevant professional grooming experience and practical ability will also be considered.
