Bournemouth Housing First provides intensive, flexible and person-centred support to individuals with a history of entrenched rough sleeping, multiple disadvantage and complex support needs.
The service works with individuals who may have experienced long-term homelessness, trauma, mental ill health, substance misuse, offending histories and repeated breakdowns in accommodation or support services. Through a trauma-informed, strengths-based and non-judgemental approach, the team supports clients to sustain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing and work towards goals that are meaningful to them.
In the rewarding role of Team Leader, you will support the day-to-day management of the service, providing leadership and guidance to a dedicated team delivering high quality, recovery-focused support to some of the most vulnerable individuals within the community. You will also be responsible for the line management of team members, offering motivation, supervision and oversight to ensure support remains creative, flexible and aligned to Housing First principles and person-centred practice.
About you
We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual who has a good working knowledge of homelessness and supporting individuals with complex needs.
To succeed in this role you would require the ability to network, build enabling relationships and work efficiently in a multi-agency context.
