Role Summary
We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a skilled Planning Coordinator to become part of our expanding team. This position sits within a busy, fast-moving environment and involves providing remote coordination for field-based engineers while ensuring a high standard of customer support. The successful candidate will work closely with both internal departments and external contacts, acting as a reliable and professional point of contact for clients.
Core Duties
- Assist leadership in managing day-to-day service operations, including handling reactive call-out requests.
- Communicate with customers to keep sales order schedules accurate, ensuring installation dates are confirmed and up to date.
- Oversee and maintain the service and repair system, making sure all tasks are recorded, monitored, and completed in a timely manner.
- Plan and allocate work for field engineers, ensuring schedules are efficiently organised and travel routes are optimised.
- Liaise with customers to coordinate site or vehicle access for planned maintenance and repair activities.
- Review and process engineer job reports, logging labour time and materials used accurately.
- Track performance against Service Level Agreements, highlighting and escalating any risks or breaches where necessary.

- Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong command of language.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Strong planning and prioritisation abilities, with a forward-looking mindset.
- Competent in IT systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside good numerical skills.
- Previous experience in a coordination, scheduling, or administrative role would be advantageous.
