Fletchers Farm Riding School in Fordham, is a BHS and ABRS approved riding school who offer lessons and rides to children and adults.
We are seeking a full-time yard person to join our team. The role reports to the manager and covers all general day to day stable duties as well as assisting in/running holiday events such as pony days and our shows. The role will also cover dealing with telephone enquiries and taking bookings when required. There is scope for the position to also include escorting hacks out for the right person.
You will need to be reliable and hard working with a flexible can-do attitude, possess good communication skills and must enjoy working with both customers and horses. The successful candidate will need to hold a driving licence for our work vehicle and have previous relevant industry experience preferably with relevant qualifications. As the post will involve working with children you will be required to have a DBS check. The post will involve working one evening a week and one weekend day.
