We are currently seeking HGV Class 2 Tipper Drivers operating from the Didcot area working primarily on HS2 projects, occasionally work will be with the day team delivering to local house builders
Job Details:
The job role is to deliver both aggregate and asphalt within the Oxfordshire area in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining a professional and responsible attitude toward work and customers
Hours on average are 10 hours per day, Monday to Friday. A typical shift will start at 6am and finish at 4pm, however this can be earlier/later depending upon the work
Saturday Work - Every other Saturday is required (5-6 hour shift) subject to work availability
Salary Role - £42,000pa - £3500 per month before deductions
Saturday shifts are paid at £100 after deductions and are generally 6am-11.30am
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
MPQC preferred but not essential
Previous tipper experience preferred but not essential
No more than 6 points on your license with no IR or DD endorsements
Good knowledge of Oxfordshire and surrounding areas
Strong commitment to Health & Safety and compliance
Maintain truck both inside and out to a high standard - you will be given your own truck to drive, and we ask that you take care of it
PPE - Hard hat, full orange hi vis, boots etc.
