An exciting opportunity has become available for a Yard Operative to join a growing and ambitious, family-run company. Based near Brough, the Yard Operative will play a crucial role both in the workshop and yard. The role has a varied set of responsibilities including:
General Responsibilities
- Compliance with security procedures.
- Understanding of H&S policies and procedures.
- Maintaining warehouse and yard cleanliness.
- Daily checks of FLTs.
- Van deliveries and collections when required.
- General yard preparation and supervision.
- Organisation of waste collections.
- Stock control and allocation of storage.
Goods In/Out
- Unloading and loading goods from delivery vans/lorries using FLT.
- Checking goods received and recording damages/missing items etc.
- Moving and labelling goods and ensuring correct storage in warehouse facility using FLT. where required.
- Moving and stacking goods for collection.

Starting salary: up to £36,270
Contractual Hours: 45hrs p/w.
Overtime available paid 1.25x weekdays, 1.5x weekends
· 20 days annual leave + bank holidays.
· All relevant PPE and tools provided.

Pay: Up to £15.50 per hour
