Job Overview
We are looking for a confident, friendly and reliable Retail Sales & Wedding Consultant to join our small team on a permanent basis.
This is a varied, customer-focused role covering everything from helping customers choose suits and formalwear to looking after wedding parties from their initial consultation through to fitting and collection. The successful candidate will also assist with our busy school uniform department and the general day-to-day running of the shop.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is organised and calm under pressure, and is comfortable using their own initiative and taking responsibility. As a small independent business, being dependable and willing to get involved in all aspects of the shop is particularly important.
Previous retail or customer-facing experience is preferred. Experience within menswear, fashion, bridal, occasionwear or a similar environment would be an advantage, but full training will be provided in our products, wedding hire, measuring and fitting procedures.
This is a permanent position of approximately 30 hours per week, Wednesday to Saturday. Saturday working is essential, and the role will include working until approximately 8pm on Thursdays when required.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
