We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Bartender will be responsible for crafting a wide range of beverages, providing friendly and efficient service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and make them feel welcome.
- Take beverage orders from customers and servers.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes.
- Ensure that the bar area is stocked with necessary supplies, such as glassware, garnishes, and liquor.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age.
- Process transactions accurately using the point of sale (POS) system.
- Engage with customers, provide recommendations, and answer any questions about the menu.
- Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure efficient service.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bartender in a similar setting.
- Extensive knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
- Certification in bar tending or a related field is a plus.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
