Duties
- Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision and timeliness.
- Maintain and update financial records using leading accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, preparing necessary reports for management review.
- Support financial management activities by preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Collaborate with team members to mentor junior staff on best practices in accounting procedures and software use.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal controls across all financial processes.
Skills
- Proven experience working with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or PeopleSoft.
- Strong understanding of financial services industry standards and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles and procedures.
- Ability to manage accounts payable processes efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
