Help shape the future of Gretna Green.
At Gretna Green, we're investing in our future. From enhancing our hotels and retail spaces to creating new visitor experiences, we're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help deliver projects that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
Reporting to the Head of Property, you'll support the planning and delivery of refurbishment and development projects across our unique estate. Working with contractors, suppliers and colleagues across the business, you'll help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting projects from concept through to completion.
- Coordinating contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring project programmes, budgets and timelines.
- Carrying out site inspections to oversee quality, progress and compliance.
- Supporting procurement, project documentation and handovers.
- Helping deliver projects with minimal disruption to our operations.
About you
You'll have experience in construction, refurbishment or project coordination, ideally within hospitality, retail or leisure. You'll be organised, proactive and confident managing multiple priorities, with excellent communication skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
Experience of fit-out projects, knowledge of CDM Regulations or an IOSH qualification would be advantageous but isn't essential.
Why join Gretna Green?
This is an opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects, including hotel refurbishments, retail developments, food outlet improvements and exciting new visitor experiences. As our business continues to evolve, you'll gain exposure to increasingly complex projects, with a clear pathway to progressing into a Project Manager role.
What we offer
- Competitive salary, dependent on experience.
- Opportunities for career development and progression.
- The chance to work on high-profile projects across one of Scotland's most iconic destinations.
- A supportive and collaborative working environment where your contribution will make a lasting difference.
