We are an African Bakery looking for an owner driver to deliver our product to our partner African Carribean Stores across cities. We are seeking a motivated and dependable Owner Driver (Minivan) to join our dynamic delivery team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to operate your own vehicle while providing exceptional service to our customers. As an Owner Driver, you will be responsible for efficiently managing deliveries, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs, and maintaining excellent communication throughout your routes. Duties
- Safely operate your own minivan to complete scheduled deliveries and pickups across designated routes
- Load and unload goods, including heavy items, with proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and efficiency
- Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and ensure accurate documentation for each shipment
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues promptly
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working condition of your vehicle to meet safety standards
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating a minivan or similar vehicle in your region
- Experience with warehouse operations or handling heavy lifting is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently in a self-directed role
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and navigation tools preferred
- Physical capability to lift heavy packages safely when required

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 45.0 per week
