Duties
- Deliver personalised hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with clients professionally and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to health and safety standards
- Consult with clients to understand their desired outcomes and offer expert advice on styles, colours, and treatments
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hairdressing and barbering
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently, ensuring timely service delivery
- Promote additional services or products that may benefit clients’ hair care routines
- Ensure compliance with all salon policies and procedures, including hygiene standards
Skills
- Proven experience in customer service within the beauty or hairdressing industry
- Skilled in hair styling and barbering techniques, with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication skills in English, capable of effectively engaging with diverse clients
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to listen carefully to clients’ requests and provide customised advice
